Ways To Get Involved

There are so many ways that your business can get involved – take a look at the dropdowns that most interest you to find the right way for you.

We would love to work with you long-term to make a lasting difference together. We can develop a bespoke calendar of fundraising activities that can support your business objectives and demonstrate your brand’s purpose. Partnerships of this nature can provide many benefits such as enhanced brand awareness and perception, increased customer loyalty and improved team motivation and engagement. We will work closely with you to make our partnership a success!

Why not organise a company hike, or host a networking event for your clients? By organising your own event, you can put your own stamp on it and fundraise for our family of hospitals at the same time. We can talk through your ideas and support you in making your event a success.

You can partner with us to promote your products or services by donating some or all of the profits to our Charity. Associating with our Charity brand can help to increase sales, boost awareness, and create PR and media opportunities.

From our flagship fundraising events to exciting campaigns, we can work together to generate increased brand awareness, support your marketing initiatives, offer great networking opportunities and provide unique engagement opportunities to bring your sponsorship to life.

Encourage your staff to independently fundraise by offering to match fund their efforts. Not only can this reward colleagues for being a force for good, it can also help to increase the amount of donations raised by their networks!

We create fantastic events all year round for your colleagues to take part in – check out our events page here

Getting involved in events is an effective motivator for employees, improving staff retention and nurturing a positive company ethos!

Payroll Giving is an excellent addition to your company’s charitable giving programme, allowing employees to donate in an easy and tax-efficient way. It’s simple to set up and maintain and can help to boost employee engagement.

Our Incredible Supporters…

Brave Quinn was only three years old when she decided to fundraise for Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital. She’s regularly treated at the hospital for a lower limb abnormality and blood disorder. She has a prosthetic leg and, along with family, walked 1 mile a day to help keep fit whilst also raising money.

There was already a strong family connection to the hospital, as Quinn’s mum Nataasha was treated by the hospital herself as a child. At the age of 4 years old, she  was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia and didn’t recover fully until the age of 13. Natasha feels like she owes her life to our hospital and continues to be grateful for it as she visits with Quinn.

Along with her colleague Nichola, who has her own family connection to the hospital, Natasha got her workplace involved in the fundraising. North West Aerospace Alliance put on a black tie ball in aid of the hospital – the evening was a huge success and raised a total of £2,380!

Natasha said: “It was an absolute pleasure to be giving something back to the charity that has helped us both (and continues to help) in so many, many ways.”

We always encourage supporters to donate to our general fund so that your donation can be used quickly across our family of hospitals by the teams and areas that need it most. If it’s important to you that your fundraising supports a specific hospital or project, please let us know so we can work with you on this.

While working with us, there is no legal obligation to fundraise for us. Each partnership is bespoke, and we will create a gift agreement that will set out the main aims and objectives. We are on hand to support you to achieve these throughout your fundraising journey. By registering your fundraising, you agree to our Terms & Conditions. See what you can expect from us here.

With your help the charity supports projects which aim to make life easier for patients and their families, particularly when they have long or frequent stays in hospital. We do this through supporting projects to create a more friendly hospital environment or providing highly specialised equipment to improve diagnosis and treatment. We also support research projects to improve our understanding of illnesses and how best to treat them.

Yes, just ask your Charity contact, or request one by emailing Charity@mft.nhs.uk with your company name, date of donation and amount.

For every £1 we receive, 25p is spent on the charity’s operational and fundraising costs and 75p directly supports our hospitals, patients and staff

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide prizes for raffles and events. We can provide you with a Letter of Authority to help you approach contacts for prizes, and you can find guidance on organising your own raffle here.

Yes, please get in touch and we can advise you on how best to do this.
