Volunteering Opportunities

Volunteering for Royal Manchester Children's Hospital is a fun and rewarding way to help us make a difference. Your time and talent is valuable in helping to support our fundraising work.

We're on the lookout for helpful and reliable volunteers to assist with a wide range of volunteer opportunities. Volunteers must be over 18-years-old, under 18s can attend most of our opportunities as long as they are accompanied by their parent/guardian.

All volunteers helping the charity must first register with us before carrying out any volunteering activity.  If you have not already done so, please register online at:  https://secure.rmchcharity.org.uk/volunteer-registration-form

Whether it is store collections, helping out at our events, or assisting in our charity office, there are many ways that you can get involved. Our current volunteer opportunities are listed below...

Aldi Store Collections

Aldi has kindly offered for us to have pairs of volunteers to collect in store from 9am to 7pm on a Saturday and from 11am to 4pm on a Sunday. Dates and times as follows:

Fold Lane, Breightmet

23rd & 24th September

How long? We don’t expect volunteers to be there all day but if you can commit to at least a 3-hour slot we'd be hugely grateful. Just let us know your preferred times when you get in touch!

Skills required? Please bring your best smile to encourage donations. You'll also need to be able to stand for a few hours at a time.

How do I get there? You'll be responsible for making their own way to and from their selected Aldi store.

Interested? Please email: community.fundraising@cmft.nhs.uk

We will get back in touch to confirm your time slot and to get details to send your collection kit to you.
