The children's burns unit was the first of its kind when it opened in 1953. Today it is the largest specialist burns unit in the country.
The winner of the Many Hands Campaign Award was announced at our final event held at the Castlefield Rooms in Manchester.
The five shortlisted companies (Brother UK, Blemain Group, Sat Nav Warehouse, Hugh Joseph McCarthy Solicitors and Gary Chaplin) all pitched to Dragons’ Den star Theo Paphitis and the judging panel that included Maurice Watkins, Chairman of Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital Charity, Chris Barry of thebusinessdesk.com, Kath Martin from sponsors Montpelier Chartered Accountants and leading business coach Nick Robinson.
