The children's burns unit was the first of its kind when it opened in 1953. Today it is the largest specialist burns unit in the country.
We need your help to ensure our mascot Humphrey gets to the Olympic Stadium on the 1st April as part of Gold Challenge.
16 charity mascots have been shortlisted with only ten being able to go to the Olympic Stadium to compete in a 100m race and we need your votes to ensure that Humphrey is there to represent Manchester and make the North West proud.
