Coronation Street star Antony Cotton stepped out from the cobbles today to enjoy tea with staff and patients at Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital.
Antony, who recently took part in I’m a Celebrity, is supporting Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital Charity’s Big T-Break event which is taking place on 24th February. People signing up to have a brew in support of the hospital will also be in with a chance of winning a cuppa with one of the stars from the nation’s favourite soap – Coronation Street.
To help kick start the fundraising and tea drinking, Big T-Break organisers will receive tea, thanks to the kind support of Lancashire Tea, along with a voucher for Warburtons products in their fundraising pack.
Antony Cotton commented, “It has been absolutely fantastic meeting the remarkable children and their families. I hope lots of people will sign up to take part in the Big T-Break on the 24th February to help make a difference children at Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital and you never know they may find themselves drinking tea with me!”
