The children’s burns unit was the first of its kind when it opened in 1953. Today it is the largest specialist burns unit in the country.
Staff from The Lowry Hotel recently visited the children's hospital to present Jenny Yates, Corporate and Inidividual Fundraising Manager with a cheque for over £2,200.
Staff from the hotel raised the money in a variety of ways including quizzes, raffles and furniture sales.
