Last year we had many companies and organisations doing amazing things all in the name of raising money for Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital.

Here are just a few of the fundraisers that took place as part of the Many Hands Campaign…

Family business Duerr’s the manufacturer of jams, marmalades and sauces decided to get creative with their products for their fundraising. The Wythenshawe based company created the first ever painting made of jam and sauces, selling at £5,000.

Viva PR in Rawtenstall organised their very own talent contest called Rossendale’s Got Talent. The event saw hundreds of people from the Rossendale Valley enter heats in exchange for a registration fee which was donated to the hospital. Singer Harriet took the crown after performing a song penned by her own hand.

Sheldon Bean from Beanstalk Telecom and Nigel Woolfstein of Wood and Woolfstein Dental Surgery decided to put their love of tennis to good use to raise money for the campaign.

The duo took on the challenge of organising a 24 hour tennis tournament at the City of Manchester Stadium. After a fun and tiring day that saw many people get involved the duo smashed their target.
