There is a long tradition of charitable support for the UK’s hospitals. While the
NHS receives enormous public resources, there is always more we can do
to support our patients and their families.

Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital Charity works to enhance the facilities
and support provided by statutory funding. We do this through raising money
to ensure continued excellence in treatment, care and research – enhancing
the lives of thousands of children each year.

But much of the development of innovative treatment and care lies outside
the core funding provided by the NHS. That’s why we need your help.

Our patients come not only from Central Manchester, but all over the North
West and beyond, reflecting the region’s diverse population. We strive to
offer the best facilities to all of them, providing first-class healthcare and
recovery support.
