Salford Dragon Boat Race Festival 2012

We are looking for a team made up of 15-20 people, to represent the charity in next years Salford Dragon Boat Race. The day consists of three timed races and a grand final.

Teams can have a maximum of 20 participants, with a maximum of 17 in the boat at any one time (eight pairs of rowers and one drummer). A professional helm will be provided for you, so steering won’t be a worry, just row!

The team entry fee is £415, so a team of 20 will pay just £20.75 each. Once signed up, there is a £50 minimum sponsorship per person, with all proceeds going directly to Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital Charity.

No experience is necessary – you will receive full instruction on the day. What you do need is lots of team spirit, enthusiasm and fundraising motivation! Why not give the team a theme and dress up on the day?

Minimum age for rowers is 16, and 12 for the drummer.
