Euro City Cycle
This superb challenge caters for every level of cyclist. The route covers approximately 300 miles with 4 days in the saddle and takes in the rolling countryside of Essex, the plains of Holland and the sleepy lanes of Belgium.
Join us for one of the best cycling experiences in Europe!
This incredible trip is perfect for anyone with a great sense of adventure and the desire to help Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital Charity. A total of 4 days consecutive cycling, covering 300 miles mean this is a challenging and arduous venture, but one that promises to allow you to see three fantastic European capitals in a truly memorable way.
There is a registration fee of £149, and then a minimum sponsorship of £1,700. The full cost of the trip is paid for out of this money, with the remainder going straight to the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital Charity.
You will need to provide your own bicycle, as well as cycling helmet and shorts/gloves if you wish. Included in the price is your ferry crossing and Eurostar tickets, accommodation, food and refreshments, English speaking guides, mechanic and medical support, transfer of bicycles back to starting venue in London and transfer back to starting venue from St Pancreas. You will be well looked after by a strong support team of UK Challenge leaders as well as support vehicles to carry luggage and provide mechanic and medical support.
The trip takes place from the 9th – 13th May 2012 and places are limited. If you would like further information about this incredible adventure, please get in touch with Clare McManmon by calling 0161 276 4404 or emailing clare.mcmanmon@cmft.nhs.uk.
