Teddy Toddle

Join in the fun of our short sponsored walk for under 5s on Wednesday 9th May in aid of Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital Charity.

Teddy Toddle, which is open to nurseries, crèches, play groups -and anyone who wants to get together to organise one - across the North West, is asking people to organise their very own fun, short sponsored walk to help raise money to support play therapy at Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital.

All organisations and groups that register will receive a free Teddy Toddle pack which will include stickers, sponsor forms, balloons and certificates for the children as well as links to downloadable activity sheets.  We will also provide you with hints and tips as to how to make the most of your Teddy Toddle.

All money raised from this year’s Teddy Toddle will be used to fund play therapy within the hospital.  Play therapy provides our patients with the comfort and pleasure of doing normal things and helps to take a child’s mind off the stressful experience that a stay in a hospital can bring.

Congratulations to Channings Childcare Nursery in Newhey, Rochdale and Kids Kapers Day Nursery in Salford who are the lucky winners of the Teddy Toddle Draw.  Humphrey will be visiting them on 9 May to say thank you and to hand over the bumper pack of goodies from Ryman.
