Caterline

Mister Blister Ltd has been in Manchester for over 20 years and is one of the UK’s leading suppliers of thermoformed (blister) packaging.  Developments in the business have led to a need to distinguish their food packaging products from the traditional Mister Blister range and felt that the launch of new brand, Caterline, was an ideal opportunity to give something back to the community by working with a local Charity.

Caterline will manufacture and supply quality catering disposables and food packaging such as salad containers and sandwich packs for the food sector as well as sourcing other popular products to compliment the range.

Initially the company will offer their support by helping to promote Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital Charity on Caterline’s materials and forthcoming website – www.caterline.net, as well on their distribution and delivery vehicles.  Caterline will also be donating five pence from every box of manufactured products sold to the Charity.

Mister Blister Managing Director, Gary Briscoe, commented: “Most of our staff are from the Manchester area so we wanted to give something back to the community and were really impressed and inspired by the work of Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital Charity. We are really looking forward to working with the Charity and hope that we can contribute in some way to making a difference to the children at the hospital, however, I might have to draw the line at shaving my head.”

The children’s burns unit was the first of its kind when it opened in 1953. Today it is the largest specialist burns unit in the country.
